Telah diidentifikasi spesies baru ichthyosaur, di Inggris.
Ichthyosaur hidup jaman dinosaurus, tinggal di dlm laut, mirip dg lumba2 atau hiu. Merupakan predator yg sgt ganas.
Spesies br ini dinamakan Ichthyosaurus larkini sbg penghormatan thdp paleontologis dr Inggris Nigel Larkin. Arti nama Larkin sendiri adalah "buas", jd cocok.
Riset fosil ini dilakukan oleh Dean Lomax (dr univ Manchester) & Prof Judy Massare (Brockpot college, New York).
